Add SCMC track lighting to recessed, routed, and wood slot car layouts with the SCMC Tapered Street Light. Designed and manufactured by Slot Car Mancave, this 3V LED street light is made for layouts where a standard Carrera or Scalextric clip-style mount is not the right fit.
Each unit includes one bright white 3V SMD LED on a stainless steel light pole and one SCMC tapered light pole base. The base is designed so the LED wiring passes straight down through the layout surface, making it useful for recessed track builds, routed wood tracks, custom scenery boards, and permanent home raceway layouts.

This version routes the LED wiring straight down through the base and underneath your layout, instead of under the track like SCMC clip-style Carrera and Scalextric street lights.
Important power note: These lights should not be wired directly to your track power. We recommend using a separate 3V 1A power supply and wiring the lights in parallel. SCMC curb lights, bollard lights, and street lights can share the same parallel 3V lighting rail.

The lights arrive pre-stripped and unterminated, so intermediate assembly and soldering skills are recommended. The LEDs do not include resistors and are intended for use with the recommended 3V power supply setup.
For top-mounted installation, we recommend using a button-head style screw to help avoid damage to the plastic base. The base can be painted or wrapped with a sticker to match your layout scenery.
Slot cars, track, scenery, and accessories shown in photos are not included unless specifically stated.
